Get ready for iBuntu Lix Sur- modern Linux with Mac-feeling
iBuntu Lix Sur marks the beginning of a whole new era in our development. For the first time we use KDE instead of Gnome as Desktop Environment. This gives the user tons of options for customization and modification as well as an astonishing look & feel which makes you forget you are not using a “real” Mac here.
We combinded the best macOS Big Sure Themes and Icon Sets as well as a lot of widgets and tools and system settings already pre-configured for you to give you the closest possible mac feeling that we can.
Enjoy the safety and security of a unix-based operating system with beautiful clean design lines.
iBuntu offers features similar to the “Mission Control” Feature of macOS. It offers a bird’s-eye view of all your open windows, desktop spaces, and any apps in full screen or Split View, making it easy to switch between them.
The Spaces bar at the top of the Mission Control window contains thumbnails of each desktop space and each window that is in full screen.
You can switch between them by clicking the thumbnails in the list at the right of the “Mission Control” windowSwipe left or right with four fingers on your trackpad
When you have more than one space, you can move windows to and from each space. Just drag the window onto the other space’s thumbnail in the Spaces bar.
If you drag a window onto the thumbnail of a full-screen app, that window joins the other window
This is just a quick overview on what our new iBuntu Lix Sur has to offer. In the next weeks we will give you more introductions to cool new features, an overview video, several tutorial videos and comparissions between our Version 1 and Version 2.
For now just get iBuntu Lix Sur and take your own look at it and stay tuned.
